this motor is AWESOME in the brushless hbx 16889! It's on par with the stock motor, but stays MUCH cooler when running a 3s battery. YES this motor can handle 3s all day long. Zero cogging and Zero thermal shutdowns. Far and away better than the Racestar equivalent. I'm running the 2445 3600kv motor and it's PERFECT for any 16th sized rc. Paired with a 35a esc It's a winner.

Good item, nicely made and working as it should.
Time will tell about durability, especially as it is not supposed to be disassembled, no screws on the can.
It is installed in WLToys A979. 3600kv was really too much for that car because of big wheels, too fast and constantly overheated, burning hot. 3600kv is suited for A959.
3000kv is just right for A979 and big wheels, although still a bit hot, but not a real problem. Running on 2s 1500mah (B model)
