I ordered this unit along with a 54.6 volt, 2 amp scooter charger. I've taken apart an old computer power supply for it's case and intend on mounting this digital control power supply along with the scooter charger as a source of power for this device.

I've already hooked the devices together and used it to charge a 40 volt Lithium battery from a Dewalt weed eater. The battery was fully restored after my test. I had to use a diode to keep the battery from back feeding into the digital controller and I then set the voltage a volt higher to make up for the voltage drop across the diode. I set this digital control power supply to 41 volts and set the amperage to .1 amps to trickle charge my old and dead battery.

The controller took about a day to restore this battery with these settings and when it reached my programmed limits it shut of output to the battery just as I had hoped it would.

It's going to be a very useful adjustable power supply on my bench.
