        Q: does this ESC having braking for a RC car ?

        Noit doesn't. In fact care is required as the centre position is very sensitive to jitter. I used it on an old JR X347 radio with a 2.4Ghz modules and a new 2.4Ghz RX and the TX jitter is to high at the centre point . Tried it on a Flysky car transmitter and it worked fine, but there is no brake. its fwd and rev. If you want a brake function, like I did for a hovercraft twin thusters with a reverse I used the Hobbyking aerostar ESC used on the bush mule twin float plane. That works great as it won't allow reverse to engage till the motor has stopped and you can set braking force too.

        Just connect to a motor chanel on the Rx. Motor (brushless motor or any 3 phase synchronuosasynchronuos motor) does not care which lead is which (of those 3 black leads) if motor turns in wrong direction change any 2 leads of those 3 black leads turn direction will change. This is universal rule.

So you choose an ESC that has a slightly higher amp rating than your motor. For example if your motors max amperage or maximum current is 38.7 amps sometimes written as 38.7A, you need a 40A esc.

        As I understand it after being confused about how this works: the control signal is 50Hz pwm. For non reversible esc 1ms on time means motors off and 2ms full on. For these 1 ms on time means full reverse, 1,5 ms means stop and 2ms full forward.

        Sorry I also don't know what I'm talking about but abwer anyway.. No it's not made for drones and I assume that the old pixhawk with drone controller firmware would not work with these. What pixhawk thinks is motor off would be full reverse on these..

        Yes.I adjusted the endpoints so there was no reverse. It did work, however I only had half of the stick range (IE, no throttle till it was past 50%). I am sure you could get it working properly - but why would you want to? Get an aircraft ESC.

        Itis bi-directional forward and reverse. I would not use it on a plane unless you want the prop to change to reverse and cause the plane to stop in mid air. Might make for some interesting flights though.
